November 11, 2000Orbitone, creator of the acclaimed Syn-chrome synthesizer for Pulsar/Scope,
is proud to present two new products for the Pulsar/Scope platform:
Impressor, a flexible dynamic effects processor, and
Psy-fi, a trio of phasers and flangers.
Impressor's unique flexible design, including both side chain input and a
built-in band separator, allows it to be used in many diverse signal
processing applications, including compressor, limiter, expander, gate,
de-esser, and bass maximizer/minimizer.
Psy-fi is a bundle containing three vibrant and colorful effects: Faza, a
phaser (both hi-fi and lo-fi versions), Flanga, a flanger and chorus effect,
and Sfera, a combination flanger and phaser. Each effect allows easy
control of frequency, resonance, and spectrum. Tempo-based rate selection
for musical beat division, and multiple waveforms for frequency modulation
allow you to create expressive, beautiful and wild effects.
Impressor and Psy-fi take full advantage of Pulsar/Scope's dynamic DSP
environment.
