July 15, 2000Synth-Tek has announced the first in a series of 4 learning CD-ROMs
Dedicated to the Kurzweil K2500 synthesizer/sampler workstation. These CD-ROMs (Beginning, Intermediate, Advanced & VAST) teach the user everything they need to know to become a power user. These tutorials walk the user through every operation of the K2500.
This step-by-step, narrated and illustrated guide explains every aspect of the instrument in easy-to-understand terms. Searchable databases let the user go directly to the topic they want to explore.
There is even a "How To Use This CD" section. Synth-Tek's own Compress-X technology puts the 20+ total
hours of
learning within a searchable database. The database includes 62 frequently-asked-questions,
53 troubleshooting tips, a searchable glossary containing 240 terms, and 105 complete
tutorials.
The CD is Macintosh and PC compatible, does not require hard disk installation, uses minimal
RAM, and works on any Power Mac (system 7.6 or higher) or Pentium
PC
(Windows 95 or higher) with a CD-ROM drive.
