is a new range of drums with a classic sound and contemporary performance created
by combining traditional drum making materials with today's most advanced drum
designs.
The foundation of the L-Series' sound are its all-Maple shells
made from multiple plies of premium-grade North American Rock Maple. Pacific's
shell production processes and strict quality control ensure the characteristic
tonal warmth, blend and projection of every L-Series drumset.This quality of sound
is further enhanced by the careful application of each drum's bearing edge and
high-gloss lacquer finish. Distinctive oval lugs with rubber insulators and heavy-gauge
steel counterhoops also promote the drums' sound production efficiency. In
fact, no detail is overlooked in the effort to support the L-Series' full bodied
tonal character. FAST-Tom sized tom-toms feature a clear bottom and coated/clear
top drumhead combination to create just the right balance of clarity and resonance.
Available in three standard configurations and two add-on drums that expand the
kit's range, L-Series Rack Toms come standard with suspension-style "PDM"Pacific
Drum Mounts while Floor Toms include special full-sustain legs that allow more
efficient vibration and a fuller, more professional sound. L-Series Bass
Drums come equipped with a coated/clear back and black front head and also include
an adjustable bass drum muffling pillow to achieve a more focused, more professional
bass drum sound. Standard bass drum hardware includes heavy-duty spurs and a height
adjustable 3-Way ball-in-socket double tom mounting system with an auxiliary clamp
that accommodates additional tom-tom and cymbal arms. All L-Series kits also include
a matching all-Maple snare drum with hazy snare-side and coated batter-side heads.
And, to help younger players as well as seasoned professionals with their snare
tuning, Pacific's coated snare drum heads feature a recommended tuning sequence
printed directly on them. Also contributing to the quality of L-Series drumsets
are the 500 Series Single Bass Drum Pedal and full complement of heavy-duty 900
Series Hi-Hat, Snare Drum and Cymbal Stands that are included with every kit.
Not only do these additions upgrade the versatility, reliability and performance
of the L-Series, Pacific's 900 Series hardware is noted for its strength and practicality
while the SP500 pedal offers the speed and smoothness of a classic Chain drive
system plus the stability of a steel pedal plate. With the tone quality,
features and hardware that drummers are used to finding on much more expensive
