GMEDIA Releases Acoustic Swing & Shuffle Grooves CD-ROM
October 29, 2000
GMEDIA Technology, manufacturers of the Phat.Boy MIDI controller, have
released a new Swing & Shuffle sampler CD.
The Swing & Shuffle Grooves CD from the GForce range is unique in
offering the choice of WAV and AIFF Audio Loops, MIDI Loops, WAV and
AIFF Individual Hits and Creative Labs SoundFonts all on the same
CDROM.
This CD features an extraordinary array of drum loops,
grooves and fills covering a wealth of styles in the vein of luminaries
such as Bernard Purdie (Steely Dan), Erica Badu, Jeff Pocaro, & Eric
Benet. There's even a modicum of glam rock thrown in for good measure.
The audio for Swing & Shuffle Grooves was recorded at the famous
Helioscentric Studios on the vintage mixing desk originally used by
Island Records for artists including Bob Marley, Roxy Music - and made
famous by the Paul Weller album of the same name. The MIDI Loops were
recorded using the state-of-the-art Roland V-Drums.
Swing & Shuffle Grooves is the result of hundreds of hours of
recording, programming and editing from some of the finest musicians
and programmers in the field, including Shane Meehan (Norman Cook /
Beverly Knight) and Dave Spiers (Keyfax Software).
Swing & Shuffle Grooves is fully compatible with the PC and Mac. The CD is available now from retailers (and directly from the GMEDIA
web site) for £29.95. For more information
