Italian music software
developer IK Multimedia has announced the new 1.1 MAS version of SampleTank for MOTU's Digital Performer.
SampleTank is a sound module that combines a powerful
synth/sampler engine and multi-sampled sounds into a plug-in software instrument.
The new MAS version is a native plug-in which allows MOTU Digital Performer users to access a
fully integrated sample-based professional sound module, increasing the compositional possibilities of their
favourite sequencer.

SampleTank 1.1 MAS is available in two versions:
SampleTank L - Includes 200 top-quality sounds using more than 1.1GB of samples: 42 orchestral sounds, 40 electric sounds, 54 acoustic
sounds, 65 electronic synth sounds and loops. Includes AKAI S1000-3000 converter. $279
SampleTank XL - Includes 450 top-quality sounds using more than 2.5GB of samples: 82 orchestral sounds, 77 electric sounds, 96 acoustic
sounds, 199 electronic sounds and loops. Includes AKAI S1000-3000 converter. $499
Current SampleTank users will be able to download the new MAS version for free.
The product will be shipping by the end of November 2001.
