Phrazer Loop Sequencer for Mac Hits Version 2.0 September 24, 2002
BitHeadz has released an update to
their loop based sequencing program, Phrazer.
Version 2.0 will bring a number of new features as well as overall improved
functionality to both current and new Phrazer users. An upgrade will be
available for all current users. The new features include support for Mac OS
10.1 or higher, the ability to bring in MP3's, a new "Save As Project"
feature that allows users to save a Phrazer sequence and related sample
files into a single project folder, the ability to audition samples with
current tempo and pitch, a new customizable user interface and finally, the
amount of content has been nearly doubled to 900 MB.
In addition to the new features, Phrazer 2.0 will bring with it a variety of
general improvements such as improved sample file search, and integration
with all of the standard sequencers such as Digital Performer, Logic,
Cubase and ProTools.
The release of Phrazer 2.0 has brought along a new program to the BitHeadz
product line, Phrazer LE. Phrazer LE is essentially a "lite" version of the
full Phrazer program. It is suitable for beginners or anyone who doesn't
require all of the features that are included with the full version of
Phrazer. The LE version comes with over 500 MB of content as opposed to the
900 MB included with the full version. The other differences are an 8-track
limit and no sequencer plug-ins in the LE version.
MSRP for Phrazer 2.0 is $299 and $99 for Phrazer. Both products are
shipping this week. Demos will be available from the
BitHeadz web site.
