The Nord Electro 2 now ships with the newly released 'AcGrand3' sound onboard. The AcGrand3 sound is a close miked stereo sampled 9' (275 cm) Malmsjoe acoustic grand piano, also available for free to existing Nord Electro users.
When Clavia sampled the Malmsjoe acoustic grand, they placed the microphones close to the piano to get very good presence in the sound. Like with all Nord Electro piano sounds, they sampled the notes in a vast amount of velocity levels to catch the nuances throughout the instrument's whole dynamic range.
The sound is available for download now at www.clavia.se - free of charge!
