reFuse Updated to Version 1.1 April 21, 2004
reFuse Software has released version 1.1 of their reFuse software
utility for Mac OS 9. The update, which is free for registered users,
fixes a sample rate bug for users working with 48K Pro Tools sessions, as
well as providing new ease-of-use features.
First released in July of 2002, reFuse is a utility application to bridge
Pro Tools and Reason, or any other ReWire-ready application. It allows
users to work in realtime with Reason and Pro Tools, eliminating the
tedious step of bouncing Reason files to disk. Up to sixteen channels can
be routed from Reason to Pro Tools, with no extra hardware needed. In
addition, reFuse provides two-way transport linking between the
applications.
Despite Digidesign adding ReWire support to Pro Tools under OS X, reFuse
remains the only software link for ReWire and Pro Tools in OS 9.
reFuse is available only at the reFuse Software website. Cost for online
delivery is $29 US, and users paying with Paypal receive their copy
immediately.
A demo is available. For more information, visit their web site at www.refusesoftware.com. |
