January 28, 1999 Deakon Roads guitars are new for 1999. They
were designed specifically for the mid-price market for both serious amateurs
and professional players who want high performance and quality at an affordable
price. These instruments have features normally found only on guitars selling
for hundreds of dollars more. Deakon Roads guitars are completely made in
Canada.
This guitar was designed for Deakon Roads, by Glenn McDougall, design
engineer at Fury Guitar Manufacturing Ltd. Since 1962, Glenn has been
designing guitars and is Canada's first electric guitar manufacturer.
