New Quad Noise Gate from dbx

dbx Professional Products has announced the 1074 Quad Noise Gate, designed for live sound percussion applications.

The 1074 is a tunable noise gate that features the dbx VCA control circuit. Each channel of the 1074 has an assignable input filter that can be used to make the gate more responsive to certain frequencies. The gate also features a threshold control that allows the user to set the level at which the gate starts affecting the gain. Additionally the gate employs controls for depth and release and a key switch, monitor switch and stereo couple switch. As part of the "10" series, the 1074 noise gate will work with dbx's 1046 Quad Compressor/Limiter to control the dynamics of any signal source.
