Ovation Announces 2002 Collectors' Edition

Ovation Guitars introduced their 2002 Collectors'
edition. Started in 1982, model 2002-AC is the 28th edition to
what has become a yearly tradition to Ovation.
This model features a stunning African Cherry top along with
Ovation's signature 5 piece epaulets around the soundholes,
five piece maple and mahogany neck, and a mid-depth cutaway
body for full, rich tonality. Designed with the electric player in
mind, it's low profile neck is 20% thinner than the standard
Ovation neck.
The Collectors' Series had its beginnings in the Ovation
tradition of "let's do something different". Following that
philosophy, this is the first guitar to offer Ovation's new OP40
preamp, an all new design that will eventually become the
platform for other new Ovation preamps.
