Redesigned for 2004, the Diamond Series Tempest Specials now feature a mahogany 'slab' body, a set-in 24 3/4" mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard, 22 jumbo frets, Grover tuners and a TonePros 'locking' tune-a-matic system. Electronics consist of dual Seymour Duncan Designed P-100 pickups, two volume knobs, tone control, and 3-way pickup selector. Three new finishes add to the Special's vintage visuals; See-Thru Cherry (STC), Tobacco 2-Tone Sunburst (2TSB) and TV Yellow (TVY). The Tempest Special has a new, lower MSRP of $699.00. A Left-Hand version ($749 msrp) is available in See-Thru Cherry. All Schecter Guitars and Basses are backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
