Sonic Foundry (AMEX:SFO) introduces ACID pH1–a mass market version of their revolutionary creation tool, ACIDTM. ACID pH1 allows Windows PC users to express their creativity by taking any of the hundreds of loops included with the program and combining them to make original music compositions. ACID pH1 contains an advanced loop processing engine that automatically adjusts loop tempos and pitches to make them blend seamlessly into professional sounding music without requiring the expensive software and time consuming procedures traditionally followed by professional musicians. It provides volume and panning options for individual loops, and allows the user to save compositions as .WAV or .ASF (NetShow) files. ACID pH1's special Paint and Erase modes speed loop placement, and the unlimited undo/redo encourages experimentation.
