AMT Shipping HR3 Harmonica Systems in March 2009

February 11, 2009

Applied Microphone Technology begins shipping the long awaited HR3 Harmonica Microphone System in March of 2009. The AMT HR3 is Applied Microphone Technology's 3rd generation of Harmonica microphone systems. Designed, manufactured by hand, and distributed by Applied Microphone Technology in the USA. Unlike any other harmonica microphone system on the market, the HR3 reproduces the sound of a harmonica as natural as possible.

The design of the HR3 is also all of it's own. The microphone is intended to fit different sized harmonicas from diatonic to 16 hole. The HR3, unlike the former HR1 and HR2 systems from AMT has a clamp that adjusts by a thumb and an allen screw to fit different sized instruments.

The HR3 also includes AMT's new DCT (Disconnecting cable technology) which allows easy replacement of the cable from the microphone as well as giving it the ability to interface with various wireless systems on the market including the AMT Wi5C belt pack free wireless system.

The included AMT inline preamp can be placed on the floor, a belt clip, or in a pocket and has a low roll-off filter as well as a dB cut. The system includes a soft carrying pouch, AMT inline preamp (phantom power required), and adjustable clamp. The HR 3 will work with the WI5C wireless system to create a belt pack free wireless environment as well as varying harmonica neck braces.
