PRESS RELEASE
AXL Debuts Badwater Series Bass Guitars
July 26, 2007
Advertisement The best-selling and wickedly distressed AXL Badwater Series guitars are now available for bass players. If you want hot features and a look that's anything but ordinary, the Badwater Series Basses will do the trick. The AP-820 comes with a split pickup and tone and volume controls. The APJ-820 has split and single coil pickups, plus two volume controls and a tone control. The pickups are designed by EMG. Badwater basses feature a solid basswood body with vintage distressing, antiqued hardware and a classic-style pickguard. Even the headstock and backplate have vintage distressing. No area was spared from the destruction. The crackle/brown finish has a reptilian texture that looks as if it's been dunked in sulfuric acid. The off-white model has a beautifully rusted appearance. The brown finish model has the look of a museum-quality guitar stored away for decades. Each guitar offers hard rocking tones, clean delivery, great playability and a one-of-a-kind style. Badwater Series basses have a list price starting at $249.99. For more information, visit their web site at http://www.axlguitars.com.Recent AXL headlines
