Ambience 5.1 Sound Effect Library Announced

Legendary film score composer and sound designer Frank Serafine has added the new Abience 5.1 Collection to the Serafine Collection of sound effects libraries. Abience 5.1 is a 20-DVD collection of surround sound samples from both natural and city environments. The ambient sounds include traffic, rain, waterfalls, forests, wind, countryside, neighborhood, weather, aquatic, crowds, and more.

Abience 5.1's audio files are .aiff as well as 5.1 DVD audio. Abience 5.1 will begin shipping in quantity in August 2003 with a US list price $1999.99.

Frank Serafine's other sound effects libraries include Sci-Fi ($695.99), Comic Sonic ($999.99) and the Guns of Cinema ($999.99), and the SFX General Series ($1395.99), all of which feature sound effects from such well-known movies including the Academy Award-nominated TRON, the Academy Award-winning THE HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER, STAR TREK-THE MOVIE, STAR TREK-THE SEARCH FOR SPOCK, THE ADDAMS FAMILY, VIRTUOSITY, BRAINSTORM, FIELD OF DREAMS, SHORT CIRCUIT, ORGAZMO and LAWNMOWER MAN, to name but a few.
