Audio Ease Releases Altiverb 5.4.4 For Windows And Filmorchester Berlin Impulse Response

June 26, 2006

Audio Ease announced that Altiverb 5.4.4 for Windows was released today, including its demo version.

Altiverb 5.4.4 shows better performance, especially at hardware buffersizes above 256 samples. An off-the-shelf $500 PC can deliver 28 Altiverb Concert Halls at 80% CPU. Click here for more test results.

The latest of Audio Ease's free and frequent IR Releases is Filmorchester Berlin, a stunning orchestral recording studio. It was built in 1952/53 as a box-in-box construction, where the inner 'box' is suspended from chains from the outer box. Filmorchester is extremely silent and features glorious acoustics. It originally served the purposes of both communist propaganda and recording of classical music.
