BFX100T Bass Combo Amp Announced

Crate announced the addition of the BFX100T to its popular BFX amplifier series. This smaller, more mobile version of the BFX100 features a 15" bass driver, a high frequency tweeter and 100 watts of power in a rear-ported cabinet.

The BFX100T is loaded with features, including classic effects such as slapback delay, echo, chorus and reverb, plus more unique effects like funk-wah, octave sub and flange. The BFX series is equipped with Crate’s patented FlexWave design, which replicates the tone and feel of a tube amp using solid-state circuitry. Additional features include an 8-band graphic EQ and a headphone jack that mutes the internal speaker.

Easy transport of the BFX100T is a key feature. With rear-mounted in-line skate wheels and a retractable handle, it’s easy to take anywhere. The included tilt-leg can be screwed into the back or stored in the unit. The amp may be used in the tilted position, projecting sound upward. Large handles on the side allow easy lifting and carrying.

Now available, the BFX100T list price is $699.99. All Crate BFX series amps are made in the USA and offer a transferable 5-year warranty on electronics and a 2-year warranty on speakers.
