BackLine Engineering Releases FX-Tracker™ Editing Software

January 30, 2006

Backline Engineering has released new editing and preset organization software for its successful FX-Tracker™ effects pedal. This software provides an interface that allow the user to view various modules that graphically represent the input level control, the main effect, the delay effect, the MIDI output function and the arpeggiator patterns. This software also displays the effect routing as audio patch cables. By connecting your computer to FX-Tracker using MIDI cables, you can edit any FX-Tracker parameter in real-time using your computer.

You can load and save a full bank of presets as a MIDI sysex file or directly load and save a full bank of presets to FX-Tracker. This software also provides a convenient way to organize your presets. You can load and save single presets as separate files. You can also copy, cut and paste presets or parts of presets such as the MIDI output function to other preset locations.

This software is a free download at www.backline-eng.com. It requires FX-Tracker firmware release 1.1 or later.
