Basone Guitars Releases Spalted Maple Handcrafted Electric Guitars
March 28, 2007
Advertisement Basone Guitars, a small custom guitar company specializing in high quality electrics, proudly announces its latest creations: the exquisite Shifter and Scarface models, both featuring a rare Spalted Western Maple top. Spalting is a unique process that occurs as decaying logs are attacked by fungi. The spalting process results in the characteristic "spalting lines," a unique line pattern throughout the wood. The Scarface model features a chambered Flamed Maple body, whereas the Shifter has a solid three-piece Flamed Maple body. Both of the electrics are equipped with high-end electronics and hardware. Basone handcrafts all their guitars and basses in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and also provides guitar customization starting from CAD$1800. You will be able to pick your own wood personally or via email, and personalize every aspect of your electric.
