Carl Martin Announces Bass Chorus Pedal
January 11, 2005

Carl Martin has readied their next pedal design, the Bass Chorus. This is the first in a planned line of bass effects. Actually previewed at last year's Frankfurt Messe in a different style chassis, Carl Matin chose to go with the wider style housing used for the PlexiTone and DeLayla XL, which delayed the release. So what's the difference between the old Chorus XII and the Bass Chorus? Nearly all chorus effects in the Chorus XII are made for guitar use, therefore when used on bass the effect is concentrated on the midrange notes, therefore the effect is very weak on the low notes. The Bass Chorus is made specifically for bass, and has the effect full as far down as the low B, according to the company. MSRP: $359.99.
