Beyerdynamic Announces New DT 880 Pro Studio Headphones

Beyerdynamic presents the DT 880 PRO studio headphones at NAB 2008 in Las Vegas, NV. The DT 880 PRO provides the best of both worlds by combining the strengths of open, transparent headphones with those of more powerful closed headphones. A remake of the classic DT 880 studio headphones, the new DT 880 PRO incorporates special housing forms and improved system equalization to create an ideal set of studio headphones with excellent analytical qualities, one which is capable of reproducing in detail the full spectrum of sound. With the DT 880 PRO critical low end bass signals are brought to the forefront with clarity and without distortion while treble frequencies are kept clear and clean without the harshness of extra high end signal presence. The sturdy steel spring band design with increased contact pressure provides the listener with a secure, comfortable fit while soft ear pads and adjustable, sliding earpieces ensure listening comfort during extended periods of use.
