Blue Cat Audio Releases Free Audio Unit Plugins for Mac

Blue Cat Audio has released an Audio Unit version of its freeware audio plugins bundle, Blue Cat's Freeware Pack. This is the end of the beta period that started a few months ago. The 11 plugins are available for download for free on the Blue Cat Audio website (http://www.bluecataudio.com/Download

) as a single package or separately.

The bundle contains a spectrum analyzer, an EQ, gain utilities with unique multiple instances linking capabilities, and several modulation effects. All plugins are universal binary Audio Units and require Mac OS X 10.5 "Leopard".

Blue Cat's Freeware Pack Plugins:

  • Blue Cat's FreqAnalyst (spectrum analyzer).
  • Blue Cat's Triple EQ.
  • Blue Cat's Gain Suite.
  • Blue Cat's Chorus and Blue Cat's Stereo Chorus.
  • Blue Cat's Flanger and Blue Cat's Stereo Flanger.
  • Blue Cat's Phaser.

System requirements:

  • Intel or Power PC Mac
  • Mac OS X Leopard (10.5)
  • An Audio Unit compatible application
