Blue Cat Audio Updates Mac Beta Free Plugins

Blue Cat Audio has launched a new version of its public beta freeware VST audio plugins bundle, Blue Cat's Freeware Pack. It is available for download for free on the Blue Cat Audio website and brings many improvements and fixes.

The final Mac versions of these 11 free VST plugins are expected to be released in November, together with an update for PC. Audio Units for Mac will follow.

What's new in beta 2:

• New skins with parameters value display for modulation effects.
• Improved graphical rendering performance.
• Improved graphs display.
• Blue Cat's FreqAnalyst "Freeze" function fixed.
• MIDI control support with MIDI learn.
• Settings panels now available.
• Tooltips.
• Some VST 2.3 applications now supported.
• minor bug fixes and user interface improvements.

• Mac OS X Leopard (10.5)
• A VST 2.4
• compatible application
