Alesis And ZOOM Choose CEntrance USB Drivers

February 03, 2006

Building upon years of driver development experience and many satisfied customers, CEntrance today announced additional licensees for its Windows driver technology. Alesis and ZOOM have licensed CEntrance USB ASIO drivers for use in new computer audio products.

CEntrance tailored its driver's audio performance characteristics to closely match specific product requirements, and updated the driver installation procedure for a One-Step, user-friendly customer experience. CEntrance continues to push the technology limits with its advanced driver expertise. The new, improved CEntrance USB ASIO drivers feature low latency, full spectrum of sample rates, 24-bit audio, support for legacy computer setups, and increased robustness.

Michael Goodman, Managing Director of CEntrance, said: "The new customer engagements underscore the broad industry support and reinforce the value of our solution. We are very excited to work with Alesis, a well-known US brand. ZOOM Corporation is the first Japanese customer for CEntrance, representing a significant milestone in our global market strategy."

Last year Oxford Semiconductor of UK chose CEntrance to develop ASIO drivers for its FireWire audio chips, and designated CEntrance as its third-party solution provider. The recently announced "CEntrance Universal Driver" for FireWire is scheduled for release in Q1 2006 and will be available for licensing. Manufacturers are encouraged to contact CEntrance at (847) 581-0500 for driver customization and differentiated product development.
