CHAUVET Releases the Legend 6500 LED

Advertisement The Legend™ 6500 is a 14-channel intelligent LED moving yoke wash particularly suited for production, stage and architectural applications, with an output comparable to a 575W discharge fixture's and full RGBW mixing capability. Distinguishing features include adjustable color temperatures (preset values range from 3,200°K to 10,000°K), the capability to trigger instant color changes, discreet operation and a casing design focused on stability and ruggedness. The unit comes fitted with a total of 90 high power LEDs (700mA red; 1,500mA blue, green and white), and 15° lenses. It produces an excellent long-throw wash- 14,430 lux @ 2m-, with a beam angle of 12° and a field angle of 25°. Optional 10 and 30-degree lenses can be swapped into the fixture to respectively provide a tighter or wider beam configuration. Standard functions and features include variable electronic strobe, electronic dimming, remote fixture reset, automatic pan and tilt correction, adjustable fan rate, an LCD display with password protection, and Neutrik Powercon power connectors. The incorporation of LEDs allows for substantial savings in energy consumption, as well as significant reduction of the unit's weight, compared to bulb-fitted wash lights.
