Cleartone Strings Expands Acoustic Guitar Lineup With Two New Gauges
April 26, 2006
Advertisement Cleartone Strings announced plans to expand their acoustic lineup with two new gauges, an ultra-light 6 string set (10-14-24w-30-38-47) and a light 12 string set (10-10-14-14-23w-10-30w-13-38w-17-47w-26w). These new sets also feature the Cleartone patented EMP, Enhanced Molecular Protection; the technology that makes Cleartone guitar strings unique. At 500 nanometers thin, the EMP Treatment is the thinnest coating in the industry. "It's accepted that coated strings last longer and uncoated strings sound better," said Joe Iacobellis, Sales and Marketing for Cleartone Strings, "There has been a tone compromise, and up until now, guitarists had to accept it. Cleartone gives you unbelievable clarity, and lasts 3-5 times longer than a standard set." Cleartone Strings introduced these two new gauges at the 2006 Frankfurt, Germany Music Messe Convention in March 2006. Both sets will begin to ship to retailers in the US and Germany by the middle of April 2006.
