CUBE 1.5 Adds Resynthesis Capabilities

VirSyn has released CUBE 1.5, which can now resynthesize stereo samples of virtually unlimited length. Sound morphing between up to 4 sources and the time warping envelopes together with the resynthesis process opens a new world of sounds for CUBE users.

For registered users of Cube the upgrade will be free of charge and can be requested on their support page.

In Addition to the features of CUBE 1.0 this update give you:

• Import of WAV/AIFF Samples in mono or stereo for Resynthesis
• Fourier sound analysis
• Decomposition of Sample into 512 partials.
• Each partial has internal envelopes for Frequency, Level and Pan
• The length of the analyzed sample can be virtually unlimited.
• Single notes, Loops and entire pieces can be analyzed and resynthesized.
• Time warp envelopes with up to 64 Breakpoints control the movement through the resynthesized sample.
• Special "Formant" Analyzer enables the automatic extraction of the sound characteristic.
• The resynthesized sound can be manipulated through the same high level controls of CUBE 1.0.
• Easy to use: no special preparation for samples is needed.
• SOLO Function for each source.
• Global level for each source.
• Microtuning.

The demo version for all platforms Windows standalone/VST, Mac OS9 standalone/VST, and Mac OS X standalone/Audio Unit/VST are available for download.
