Applied Research and Technology (ART) is now shipping the DIO 24/96 digital converter. The DIO offers full 24-bit conversion and features sample rates from 44.1kHz to 96kHz. The DIO also features intelligent synchronization allowing for automatic sync with outboard equipment.

ART integrates this with trademarked tube technology. The ART tube warmth circuit offers the addition of a dual triode 12 AX7 tube allowing the AD/DA signal path to vary from clean to warm.

This new stereo unit provides superior audio dynamic range in the same compact package as the Award-Winning Tube MP and Single Channel Tube Compressor.

The DIO features 1/4" stereo analog in and out, 24-bit S/PDIF digital I/O, switchable 44.1, 48, 88.2, and 96kHz sample rates, and variable tube character control that will add warmth and musicality to the typically "sterile" digital signals of hard disk recordings.

The DIO can be used in a variety of applications, including recording, project, and home studios, and will help eliminate system noise in any computer based workstation.

The DIO features a one-year warranty, and has a suggested retail price of $249.00.
