Epiphone's E-Series takes some classic rock guitar shapes and gives them a new twist, with unusual styling and finish alterations and the latest electronics. Five new electric guitars make up the E-Series: the LP Extreme and Evolution E-Series Hardbodies, along with three models that feature built-in effects - the Slasher, Demon and Beast E-Series Hardbody FX The E-Series Hardbodies The LP Extreme is a Les Paul-style guitar with two new finishes–white and black pearloid . This guitar has a select grade Indian Rosewood fingerboard, "Super-Slide" satin finish, the new E-Series "Ultra Hot" covered humbucker pickups with E-logo die-stamped covers, a hard maple set neck, new "E-Wing" headstock and has an "E" logo inlay on the fingerboard. LP Extreme specifications:
The Evolution features a flowing, liquid Explorer-style body design that hugs the player. This guitar has the strings anchored through the body for maximum sustain. It has a solid tone wood body, bolt-on slim taper neck with "super slide" satin finish, a select grade Indian rosewood fingerboard, new E-series "ultra hot" covered humbuckers and your choice of three stunning metallic finishes–black, red or light blue. E-Series Hardbody FX The E-Series Hardbody FX guitars take a step farther away from the norm with their onboard chorus and distortion effects. Like the Evolution, the string-through body design delivers maximum sustain. The three guitars in the Hardbody FX series are the Demon, which is based on a modified Flying V (offset); the Beast, based on a modified Explorer; and the Slasher, which is a modified Firebird. Each have a solid tone wood body, bolt-on slim taper neck with a "super slide" satin fast action finish, a select grade Indian rosewood fingerboard, string-through body design, new E-series "ultra hot" covered humbuckers and your choice of black red and light blue metallic finishes.
