SEK'D Introduces EDL-Convert Software

EDL stands for "Edit Decision List." This list contains information with the name of the audio files and where they are placed along the time line in your hard disk recording software project.

Most DAWs can safe and load the EDL as a separate file. The problem is that each manufacturer uses its own format for this file. EDL-Convert is a tool that allows you to convert the project files from one program to another.

Supported formats for import and export with EDL-Convert Standard:

  • VEGAS Video/Audio
  • SAMPLITUDE/SEQUOIA
  • SAWPro
  • Wavelab 3.0
  • Cool Edit Pro

Additional supported formats for import and export with EDL-Convert Professional:

  • SADiE
  • SONIC STUDIO
  • AES3I

Projected supported formats:

  • OMFI
  • SONIC STUDIO HD
  • Discreet
  • CMX3600, SONY9100, GRASSVALLEY

System requirements:

  • Pentium CPU, min. 166 MHz
  • 32 MB RAM
  • Graphic card with 1024 x 768 resolution, 16 Bit color depth
  • Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000
  • Internet Explorer 5 - required for the help system
