EMG Presents Gold & Chrome Pickup Cover Caps

EMG is now offering some of its best-known models with a new option — chrome or gold cover caps. Addressing the important issue of durability when chrome plating over brass, EMG's solution is a one piece, high quality, mirror polished, stainless steel cover cap produced in the USA. Similarly, the gold version offers a polished stainless steel cap with the addition of a gold coloured finish commonly used to harden machine tools. Producing a far more durable finish, this process both hardens the cover cap surface and penetrates the stainless steel, rather than merely surface coating the latter.
