AccuGroove has just introduced a new line of 4-way and 3-way bass cabinets that were designed by bass players, not engineers. This was born out of frustration of not finding cabinets that would accurately reproduce the true sound of their own basses. AccuGroove's flagship is the El Whappo. It features AccuGroove's "Cabinet within a Cabinet" design where the 3 main drivers are in their own separate enclosures and have their own specifically tuned ports. This way there is no interaction between the speakers inside the cabinet allowing each driver to remain true to it's own unique sonic signature. The end result is the company's "Four Way" cabinet design with each speaker chosen for it's own distinct sonic capabilities. Sub-Woofer, Mid-Woofer, Mid-Range & Tweeters. El Whappo is 93 lbs. and rated 700 watts at 4 Ohms. It has separate Heavy-Duty Attenuators for the midrange and the tweeters, as well as protection via separate "self resetting" circuit breakers, eliminating the need for fuse or light bulb replacement. 2 sealed 1/4" jacks and 2 Speakon jacks assure perfect connections every time. Comfortable large recessed handles make it easy to carry to the next gig. For more information, visit their web site at http://www.accugroove.com/.Recent AccuGroove headlines
