Carvin Announces FA Acoustic/Electric Option

In an attempt to offer the best of both worlds, the FA series guitars from Carvin are solid body guitars featuring a Fishman equipped bridge and Wilkinson tremolo. In addition to the Fishman, on-board electronics include two of Carvin's C22 humbuckers, both of which can be coil split, 3-way selector and phase switch for the humbuckers. Both the electric and acoustic systems have an active tone control, and a pan control blends the acoustic and electric outputs on the dual outputs, allowing for two completely separate signals or a combination of the two on a single jack. The FA series option is available in a fixed or tremolo version on the following models: TL60, DC127, DC200, DC400. Due to the dual output jacks mounted on the body edge, the RB (rounded body) option is not available. TL60’s and DC127’s require ACA (Active Electronics) option.
