MakeMusic! Inc. has released Finale 2004 music notation software for Windows computers. Finale 2004 will also be released for Macintosh OS X in October.

This latest upgrade to Finale offers a variety of powerful and timesaving new features for educators, students, composers and publishers.

Exclusive New Features Include:

Human Playback–plays back your music as you have written it, with phrasing and nuance
FinaleScript–use ordinary English to create scripts of Finale commands to modify multiple files automatically
SmartMusic Software Synthesizer –included free with Finale 2004
SmartMusic SoundFont–the same found in the SmartMusic practice system
Create SmartMusic Accompaniments–create accompaniments with advanced features for solo works, exercises, warm-ups, and more for use in the classroom or for students use at home.
Save as Audio File–save your Finale files into an audio format for recording onto an audio CD
Smart Page Turns–aligns individual parts for natural page turns, saving time spent re-positioning staffs.
