Guitar legend Peter Framptons sought-after Framptone guitar electronics line launches at retail this season with the Framptone Amp Switcher. Resulting from repeated requests by fellow artists–such as the Foo Fighters Dave Grohl, Art Alexakis from Everclear and Richie Sambora of Bon Jovi–Framptone products are hand-built with an emphasis for extensive road use and sturdy longevity. Framptone Amp Switcher features include:
The Framptone Amp Switcher can be purchased at many top music retailers across the country, including Mars Music (nationwide); Plexi Palace (Apple Valley, CA); New York Professional Guitar Center (Poughkeepsie, NY); and Maggio Music (Brooklyn, NY). It can also be purchased by sending a check or money order (made out to "Framptone") for $379.00 plus an additional $10.00 for shipping and handling to: Nuages Music, c/o The Haber Corporation, 1016 17th Avenue South, Suite #1, Nashville, TN 37212. Tennessee residents please add 8.25% sales tax - Ohio residents, please add 6% sales tax. Please allow 4-6 weeks delivery. In addition to the Amp Switcher, musicians will soon be able to purchase the Framptone TalkBox, an accessory which has become synonymous with Framptons unique sound over the last 25 years. Currently in the manufacturing stages, the prototype has been well received and used extensively by musicians who should know - Peter Frampton, Dave Grohl, and Richie Sambora. In addition to the technical, high-end Framptone line, the artist has almost completed one of the busiest years of his career. He served as "authenticity advisor" and had a cameo acting role in the critically-aclaimed Cameron Crowe film "Almost Famous;" just completed his 2000 Tour in support of his latest CD and DVD, Live In Detroit; recorded two songs for the new Disney childrens album Tiggermania; and was recently featured in People Magazine. His five solo studio albums from the 1970s were re-released on CD in August (Wind of Change, Framptons Camel, Somethins Happening, Frampton, and Im In You). Most importantly, the classic Frampton Comes Alive! album will be re-released on January 9, 2001 just in time for its 25th Anniversary. The album is being re-mastered, re-mixed, re-sequenced, and will contain additional songs that were recorded at that time. Frampton will perform at BB Kings Blues Club in New York City on January 18-19, to celebrate the re-release (his first New York City concert in over 5 years!).
