Cakewalk Now Shipping Fruityloops 3

Cakewalk is now shipping Fruityloops 3. For the first time, Fruityloops is available in music retail stores worldwide. Earlier this year Cakewalk and Image-Line, makers of the award-winning Fruityloops, announced an agreement in which Cakewalk would be the exclusive worldwide retail distributor of Fruityloops 3. Prior to the announcement Fruityloops was only available direct from Image-line.

Fruityloops is one of the most widely-used loop creation and drum sequencing tools in Europe. It is a hybrid product that combines the best in loop generation, synth emulation, and pattern-based sequencing. The latest version of Fruityloops includes a new photo-realistic interface, support for DXi soft synths and DirectX audio effects, and support for Windows 2000 PCs. Fruityloops 3 also provides an integrated Sample Browser and trial version of BeatSlicer, CD-quality stereo output, an integrated TS-404 bass line generator, a virtual keyboard, MIDI and DirectSound support, skin support, and individual panning/volume/pitch/mix controls. Users can export samples to WAV, MP3, or MIDI files. The new retail edition of Fruityloops 3 also includes a free copy of the Dreamstation DXi soft synth, and an extensive library of samples and loops from which users can create an infinite number of new sounds.
