January 10, 2004

New from Keeley Electronics is the Fuzz Head, a blend of Fuzz and Overdrive. The Fuzz Head's circuit and buffered output produces a fuzz that is intended to work with any guitar/amp combination. Features:
The "SI" mode inserts two diodes in the distortion circuit so you can have a modern twist on a vintage sound. It increases the gain and compression a bit for more sustain. This is more of an overdrive mode rather than raw break-up. The "GE" mode is natural and open sounding. The Fuzz Head also includes an internal drive-range Control. so you can fine-tune from light overdrive tones to a roaring Fuzz. The Fuzz Head can be powered by batteries or an external 9 Volt DC power supply. Price: $195. Available starting in February, 2004 Recent Robert Keeley Electronics headlines
