Crate Amplifiers announced the introduction of the GFX212T, an enhanced version of the popular GFX212. The new GFX212T still includes the original custom twin 12" speakers and 120 watts RMS, however, it offers several new features. The most unique GFX212T feature is the new Channel Tracking design. Channel Tracking makes it possible to assign a different digital effect to each of the amps three channels. With the included Crate 3-button footswitch (CFP-3), players can switch between the channel functions (Gain 1 (rhythm), Gain 2 (solo) and clean channel), as well as switch the effects on or off. The new GFX212T is also equipped with six additional effects, including octave and touch-wah, plus new multi-effects that provide a total of 16 choices. Also, the new 16-position "detented" encoder makes it easier to locate the desired effect. The GFX212T is equipped with the "Evolution Five" FlexWave preamp, which is a patented design that replicates the tone and feel of a tube amp via more efficient and lighter solid-state circuitry. Other features include dual lead gains and an external speaker jack. Now in stock, the GFX212T list price is $599.99 the same as the original GFX212. The Crate GFX series is made in the USA and offer a transferable 5-year warranty on electronics and a 2-year warranty on speakers.
