Gadotti Guitars Announces 10 String Nylon King Electric To Debut At 20th Annual International Guitar Show

Advertisement 10 string guitars have been part of the evolution of the classical guitar family, but never conceived in an electric nylon string chambered body design until now. Jeanfranco Gadotti of Gadotti Guitars has designed the 10 String King Nylon Electric which is the perfect balance of old world craftsmanship and new world design. The 10 String King is tuned with the first 6 strings being conventional. The Yepes Tuning for the remaining 4 strings is 7th string C, 8th B flat, 9th A flat and 10th G flat. The guitar can also be tuned in Baroque tuning and alternative tunings available on the web. La Bella 10MT strings are recommended as the 10 string nylon set for modern tuning. Tuning keys are Sperzel and the pickup system is a custom designed LR Baggs Element Active with 2 transducers balanced for 5 strings each. The body is chambered and neck weight was reduced creating a comfortable guitar weight at less than 6 lbs. The 10 String King, like other Gadotti Guitars consist of a multi-laminated 7 piece neck through body and 4 piece body including top. The nut and saddle are carved Katalox.
