NemeSys announced today that version 2.2 of its award winning GigaStudio line of professional sampling workstations is shipping. For a limited time, GigaSampler and GigaSampler LE customers can upgrade to the award winning GigaStudio at huge savings; GigaSampler Full to GigaStudio160 - $149 (Save $250), GigaSampler LE to GigaStudio96 - $149 (Save $150). In addition, all NemeSys sample libraries are 20% off their regular price.Compared to GigaSampler, GigaStudio v2.2 offers full compatibility with the (.GIG) v2.0 file format, providing twice the layering, new filter and amplitue LFO featues, new envelope modulation control, smoother and ‘turbo’ powered filters with faster external filter control, programmable crossfade start and finish for each layer with graphic editing, velocity curve scaling, and improved crescendo dynamics control, among other features. Any imaginable sound can now be located by simple or complex search criteria, such as "phone", "phone ring", "phone ring NOT bell", or "animals", "animals NOT (bird OR cat)", and so forth. Not just for locating logical groups of sound objects, the QuickSound enhanced library also facilitates instantaneous access, auditioning, streaming, and multichannel playback with automation. Already in use at major music, film and television production studios, GigaStudio with QuickSound technology marks fundamental improvements to music authoring.
