Glyph and Blastwave FX Partner to Offer Hard Drives Pre-Installed With HD Sound Effects Libraries

Hard drive maker Glyph Technologies has partnered with HD sound effects publisher Blastwave FX to offer hard drives pre-installed with HD sound effects libraries and search software. Blastwave FX libraries included in the Glyph Program are SONOPEDIA™, The BlastDrive, and TitleWave, all of which will be delivered on 250 GB and 500 GB Glyph GT 050Q drives. These libraries also ship with Blastwave FX Search Software, enabling users to search, audition and drag n' drop into most applications on MAC or PC.

"The hard drive libraries we currently offer range in size from 180 to 465 Gigabytes," said Ric Viers of Blastwave FX. "We recently released Search Software to enhance usability and integrate our sound effects at the application level. All considered, we needed a hard drive partner to meet our requirements for performance and reliability — Glyph sets the gold standard here and we are pleased to be innovating with them."

Blastwave FX libraries included in the Glyph Program are:

The BlastDrive - 31,300 HD sound effects and production elements anthology

These Libraries are delivered on 250 GB and 500 GB Glyph GT 050Q drives and come with:

Multiple File Formats: broadcast .wav files (24/96, 24/48, 16/44.1) & mp3 all with embedded metadata
Search Software: search, audition, drag n' drop into applications such as Pro Tools, AVID, Final Cut Pro and more
Glyph 3 Year Warranty: 3 year coverage, 2 year first-level data recovery, 1 year overnight advance replacement on all registered products Blastwave FX libraries are currently available to customers directly from Blastwave FX (www.blastwavefx.com) and through Blastwave FX's network of distributors and resellers worldwide.
