Grendel Sound releases the "Dead Room" Isolation Cabinet
December 07, 2007
Advertisement Grendel Sound's new Isolation Cabinet I is essentially a "dead room" on wheels, rather then just a isolation cabinet due to 6" thick of absorption material housed in the lid with calculated chamber dimensions. This provides the clearest and cleanest signal possible from an amplifier into a mixer for recording or live sound reinforcement. With 30dB of noise reduction from lid open to lid closed on the Dead Room, you can successfully record tube amps with all the life and tone of a real speaker without disturbing anyone. In the home studio is is great because the Dead Room can be in the same space as a control room, allowing recording to be easy and effective. In a live environment this allows you to isolate your sound so that monitor mixes, as well as FOH, have the most flexibility and control over your sound. Constructed from domestic A2 grade Birch plywood and covered in a durable black carpet, the Grendel Dead Room is ready to last a lifetime. The Dead Room comes with two microphone mounts and one goose neck. Also on the menu are Neutrik XLR connectors hand soldered with 22AWG microphone cable inside and out. Features:
The Dead Room can be ordered with a Warehouse Veteran 30 speaker for $399 or unloaded for $359. For more information, visit their web site at http://grendelsound.com/.Recent Grendel Sound headlinesMore Grendel Sound HeadlinesSimilar Products at Musician's Friend
