PRESS RELEASE
Grover Upgrades Projection Plus Snares
October 06, 2000
Advertisement Projection-Plus concert snare drums, which are available with either Maple or CST- shells, now feature: the Grover Piston Strainer, the exclusive GIS Indexing System, precision DNC bearing edges, "low mass" tube lugs, extended non-spiral custom snare wires, nodal venting, and the Grover Snare Outrigger System with 5-point tuning adjustment. The Maple models are available in four beautiful, "hand-rubbed" lacquer finishes: Natural Maple, Charcoal Ebony, Rich Walnut and Deep Mahogany. "The Projection-Plus' upgrade has significantly enhanced the sound of our "high-end" concert snare drums," commented Andy Rega, VP of Operations. "The new tube lugs reduce mass loading on the shell, maximizing resonance and sensitivity. Our five-point tuning system allows one to tension the snares both laterally and vertically, while the new GIs Indexing System allows one to note strainer settings for consistency."
