eMedia Readies New Version of Guitar Method

eMedia Music Corp. announced version 3.0 of its Guitar Method Vol. 1 CD-ROM. It now includes a completely new chapter on modern rock guitar, new higher-quality split-screen videos and more.

eMedia Guitar Method makes learning fun and easy with step-by-step audio- and video-enhanced guitar lessons. In Version 3.0, new lessons include: Moveable power chords, palm muting in modern rock, Rock & Punk style strums, Guns 'N Roses style "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" and the "Chika" with Power Chords. New features include: more than 20 new videos demonstrating techniques, split-screen videos for more close-ups, full-screen mode for larger text and easier-to-read anti-aliased fonts. Version 3.0 is also native OS X Compatible.

Version 3.0 of eMedia Guitar Method Vol. 1 will be released 2/24/04 and be available at computer and music retail stores nationwide, with an estimated retail price of $59.95. The CD-ROM is a hybrid for both Windows and Macintosh platforms.
