PRESS RELEASE
ION iCapture Records High-Quality Stereo To iPod
January 08, 2009
Advertisement ION (ionaudio.com) introduces iCAPTURE, a stereo handheld audio recorder for iPod. iCAPTURE will premiere at the Consumer Electronics Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Booth 12544, Jan. 8-11, 2009. iCAPTURE is designed for handheld use in musical situations, interviews, meetings, lectures, or any other situation where consumers need excellent audio recording. The recorder sleekly houses a user's docked iPod, protecting it with a custom faceplate that ensures access to all front-panel iPod controls. iCAPTURE records detailed stereo sound thanks to its built-in microphones. While recording, users can listen live with a pair of headphones. Once recorded, the audio remains in the user's iPod for mobile listening, and can be transferred to a computer or other device. The recorder runs on batteries or a plug-in power supply, and while wall-powered, can charge the docked iPod. iCAPTURE is convenient, high quality and handy. "iCAPTURE is a killer combination of portability, quality and convenience," stated Scott Elrich, Senior Product Manager, ION. iCAPTURE is expected in Q2-2009 with pricing to be announced.
