First introduced in 1996, the Dean Icon has been re-designed for 2001. Based on feedback from consumers and dealers, the Icon has a sleek new design and headstock.

The main feature changes are the re-constructed neck joint making it more comfortable than ever and the string thru the body design which adds sustain.

An arched quilt maple top, select Honduras mahogany body, wood binding and abalone inlays are some of the features offered on the three models.
