Jump Audio Introduces The RXM In-Ear Monitor System
April 30, 2009
Advertisement The RXM is a wired in-ear monitor system for live or studio situations. It is basically a remote volume control for a headphone amp. It works great for studios, choirs, singers, drummers, keyboard players, and anyone else looking for a simple in-ear monitor system. The RXM comes with two components, the RXM Bodypack and the RXM Cable. The RXM Cable is a TRS to XLR cable. The XLR connector plugs into the RXM Bodypack while the TRS connector plugs into any headphone output. The RXM Bodypack is a small, stout belt pack that has a single volume knob for volume control. It is available with either a 3.5 mm headphone jack, for live situations, or a 1/4 inch headphone jack for studio applications. The RXM system is a simple, passive system that requires no batteries. The in-ear monitor mix is delivered to the RXM Cable by any headphone amp. The RXM Cable is an 18 feet long and made from high quality Mogami cable. The RXM Bodypack chassis is made from extruded aluminum making it lightweight and built to last. There are 2 molded belt clips for added stability and durability. All the 1/4 inch and XLR ends and plugs are roadworthy Neutrik connectors. For more information, visit their web site at http://www.jumpaudio.net.Recent Jump Audio headlines
