Reinforcing the V-drums' position as the best-sounding, best-playing electronic drum system ever developed, Roland is proud to introduce the new KD-120 V-Kick Trigger Unit. This new kick drum pad/trigger was specifically developed with a first-of-its kind mesh drum head and new triggering system to give V-drums and Roland Compact Drum System owners natural, super-accurate kick drum response. The KD-120's 12-inch mesh drum head and custom foam insert have been engineered to make drummers feel as if they are playing a much larger kick drum. Not only does this design provide superb triggering response, it also offers a natural playing feel with just the right amount of rebound, as well as dramatically reduced tremble and noise-free performance. This combination of technology and ergonomics results in an ideal kick drum pad/trigger which can be used with any standard (vertical beater) bass drum pedal including double bass pedal as well as a variety of electronic percussion sound modules (Roland TD-10, TD-7, TD-5, SPD-20, and others). The KD-120 also features a sturdy, four-leg stand which prevents slipping even during aggressive drumming, as well as an attractive design well-suited to the sleek V-drums electronic percussion system. The KD-120 will be sold as an accessory and not included in the V-Pro-Set at this time. It should be available in October. Preliminary Specifications (May be subject to change.)
