New Bass Combos from SWR

SWR Sound Corporation is now shipping its LA Series compact bass combos.

The LA Series –"LA" stands for "little amp"– is the first line of small bass amp combos from SWR. Three models make up the series currently: the LA 8, a single 30 Watt, 8" combo, LA 12, with a 12" speaker and 60 Watts of power, and LA 15, which pumps 100 Watts through a 15" speaker.

All three models include SWR's basic preamp, bass, mid, and treable tone controls, a headphone jack, tuner out jack, and a mix in jack to play along with another sound source.

The LA series are affordable, with list prices starting at $299 for the LA 8 to $499 for the LA 15 model.
